Love how Reptar looks more “primal” in this game. He moves around like he’s a monster released from his cage, and so many of his attacks have a lot of impact behind them

Also imo, he might have one of the best supers we’ve seen so far, so true to the character 😂👏👏

What I really like About All star 2 is how careful they are with their characters. Heavy Characters are arguably one of the worst characters in smash games because of how easily they can get comboed but All stars is doing a great job at making them look more intimidating to get close to and giving them options to deal with certain speedy characters. Hopefully all of the characters are balanced but at least the Heavy characters are getting a lot of love.

I love how the devs are so faithful to the characters and their respective tv shows! Jimmy is a very technical zoner because he’s a boy genius. Ember has a cheer meter that boosts her specials because she gets more powerful the more people remember her. And most importantly, reptar is designed the way he is so literal babies can play him!

I love that Robo Reptar from Rugrats In Paris is one of his alternate costumes. And I especially love that he has ice skates.

the running animation is a double whammy of a reference. First to Reptar on Ice and second to the fact that Bowsers old runnijg animation used to have him skid along the ground like he was sliding or skating.
