How Good is this Budget USB Mic? (Fifine K669B)

How much money do you need to spend to get a good sounding microphone? I bought an inexpensive USB mic that was specifically listed for podcasting and streaming, so let’s see how it sounds. While there are less expensive XLR mics out there, the biggest benefit to a USB mic is that you don’t need a mixer or interface in order to use it– just connect it to your computer and you’re ready to go!

Hello! I've been using this microphone for almost two years (planning to upgrade in a few days). I've been stressing it out a lot with voice acting and energetic voice over. It's always connected so I can use it on Discord or any other voice chats and it's still working as Day 1. I really recommend this microphone to anyone who wants to start streaming or podcasting with a reduced budget.

I've used the fifine mic for a year so far on my stream, I much prefer it over most of the more expensive microphones. Added pop filter on the fifine helps a lot I found to make it sound even better.

I've been using this mic for a couple of years now and I'm actually really happy with it still! The sound is perfectly good for what I paid and even after two moves the microphone is in good shape! My only real issue is that the mic-stand it comes with isn't the best quality and it eventually broke so I had to replace that at one point. For someone looking to get into streaming and podcasting, or if you want a "set it and forget it" microphone for voice chat, it works wonders!

Recommend the fifine t669 USB mic. It's basically the same one, but with a boomarm, pop filter, that tripod stand and a windscreen. So, It's basically a whole kit for around $50.
For around 2 years, This mic is still fifine for me.

It's thoroughly okay! The Yeti sounded significantly smoother while the Fifine was more harsh and crisp in the top end. But definitely a good buy for the money and more than enough for most folks.

Just adding my two cents: I am an audio/video/music guy. I just got the Fifine USB mic for my wife for her work video conferencing calls. It is absolutely perfect for that. It’s cheap, it’s well built, it’s unobtrusive, looks good in the frame, and it sounds about the same as if I’d set her up with a much higher priced mic. The permanently attached cable is actually a positive in that context since it is one less thing to go wrong.

Checked this microphone out a while back and really liked it, the Yeti's time is over (and has been for a while, imo) for the price it (still) costs when mics like this are around out there (as well as the Tonor TC-777 and the Samson Q2U/AT2005USB). Great vid!

I currently have two FiFine microphones and I’m always impressed with their sound quality. The only frustrating thing about these mics is the (as you mentioned) permanently attached cable. Aside from that, they are both fabulous for the price.

We are using the FiFine usb lapel/headset mics for our teachers to use in the classroom for hybrid classroom situations. I was really (REALLY) surprised that it worked as well as it did for the price. It was very easy for my staff to use.

I just started looking into this mic after buying a HORRENDOUS JLAB audio mic. After hearing that the audio is so much clearer and crisper for its price, I didn't hesitate in buying the product. I see this as an absolute win

I got this at the beginning of online school in Sept 2020. It works wonderfully. When I heard classroom presentation recorded on Zoom, I could hear my voice clearly compared to my classmates who used earphones or laptop mic.
