"In 1899, the wild west isn't wild anymore. America was becoming the land of laws.."

Bank robberies per capita would be a much better statistic to use instead of total bank robberies by year.

Only a handful of larger towns had any kind of gun control and none of those laws were state, federal, or territorial wide. The rest of the frontier was practically lawless and you needed to hunt for food, so if you didn't carry a gun, you would not survive. Some really bad info in this video.

There were of course fewer people around back then!

So two locations in the entire west had gun control and you attribute that to the entire west?

From Joseph P. Rosas "Guns of the American West", page 170:

"In the trans-Missisipi West between 1850 and 1900, an estimated 20000 such men [gunfighters] perished in personal shoot-outs, feuds and other community disputes. For it was an epoch of guns, guts and gore that has seldom been rivalled."

and later on page 171:

"Tests at ranges up to 450 yards have proved the accuracy of the old-time pistols at these distances, but few gunfighters cared for long-range shootouts - what happened at between five and fifteen feet was of much more concern to them"

The guns where accurate allright, they just didnt care.

It literally hasn’t changed in Idaho, it’s still the “wild west” out here, there’s just more electricity and highways around

The linked video contradicts most of this video. Who's telling truths?

What you fail to point out is that a lot of people living or working outside of town would have to venture into town. Those people needed safety in-between and no place to stow their guns just short of city limits. What's more is you had criminals like Wyatt Earp abusing people and not enforcing the gun free laws for his pals. So you had things and serial killers armed while other people they don't like were unarmed.

I heard that samurais didn't normally fight with swords and were tiny widdle men in huge armor, vikings were not as intimidating as they're portrayed and in fact were clean freaks.

5:15 Nah, I call BS. People must've been armed more than ever!!

You had me until you mentioned your opinion on guns talking about “it’s no surprise when the settlers that were armed to the teeth moved out west gun violence increased” but you said earlier that none of that “lawless” violence actually existed

The six shooter was accurate especially the navy models
