hey Wolf, next can you shoot a pair of safety glasses? Not ones meant for paintball or airsoft; just those cheap ones that you get from the Home depot or whatever.

I just played a big game the other day. Got shot just as much in back by my own team as I did by the other team. It happens a lot when you're in the front. Good video man.

Have you tried turning it off and back on?

Something else to consider- if that phone had been mounted to your gun, or on your vest, it would've absorbed more of each impact since it wouldn't have been able to sway with the hits.

I use my iphone with the intelliscope in paintball often. You can quite easily make mounts out of hardcases etc that will protect it. You can use risers or any type of picattiny mount, some hot glue, a hardcase & some ingenuity and make youself a nice mount & protection for your scope that keeps you on target & connected to your social media life lol

They do make very good ballistic cases that may or may not offer some protection, if you must use your phone.

Hey I'm getting the tippmann TCR when it comes out next month plus 4 20 round zeta mags do u think that would be a good amount of paint for a 15 minute game

You should've tested te back side, that will be the only side to get shot as that app uses the main cam on the phone...

I'd like to see the Inteliscope PRO tested using an iPhone in a protective case, such as a Lifeproof case.

There is a case made by the company optrix that is basically a gopro case for your iPhone it actually can use all the same mounts as a gopro that I think would be badass for this

i always shoot pumpkins after Halloween is over and it takes a couple hit but you can get through them lol

I am glad gopro has protection, in one paintball battle my gopro got a direct hit in the lens while I was recording. You should use a action camera instead of phones. IPhone even cost more than most of the good action cameras.

Hey wolf!
When I started out, I used to LOVE listening to music on my iPod while I played.
Later on when I started playing against more skilled players, I realized I needed to be able to hear what's going on around me and stopped :p
...
What I want to know is which MP3 player would be BEST for playing paintball with?
Would you mind shooting a few? Maybe plug some speakers into them and play some sounds off them while you shoot them so we could determine the moment of failure IF and WHEN it happens.
Other than that, it would be great if you could show us which RED DOT sights would actually break when they get shot?
I have an NC Star red dot sight and it's take countless numbers of shots straight on the lense and even been splashed but it still has NO problems at all ... still I hear amateurs running their mouth about how "some day it's gonna break" ...
Also, people mouth off about how paintballs can be frozen ... some say older paintballs where different and could be frozen, others say these new "hydrotech" paintballs can be frozen ... would you mind just officially debunking the frozen paintball myth? More importantly could you debunk the fact that they "hurt more" ...

Then I have one final request ...
ACTION CAMERAS! I use a Drift Ghost like you, but do you think you could test some of the other brands out there and shoot em up a bit so we can compare?
I'm pretty sure the other brands out there don't have as "tough" lenses and it would be a really nice demonstration of durability to see the Drift Ghost go "head to head" with other brands like that.
Maybe even just normal cams people might consider? For interest sake ...

Thanks again, stay awesome!

Warm Regards,
Christiaan Joubert

I was using a GO PRO as an example, guys. You could use any camera that has a view screen for taking video. I personally would rather lose a couple hundred bucks camera than a smartphone, don't care who makes it, they are INSANELY expensive to replace and MOST carriers will not cover damage like that under their warranty policies. I use an EPIC camera ( yes it is old) as a gun camera, but if and I said IF, I ever went to magnified sniper type shooting to were I could increase the range of my optics, that would be the way to go. there is a guy on YOUTUBE who does sniper cam while he plays and he uses and old KODAK camera, the ones that went for like 40 bucks to film his shots.

That is why you use this app with an optic protector
