Is there an inexpensive sewing machine you can recommend for a beginner? I’m hand sewing wallets and small projects for now. 2-6 ounce leather.

Hey Joe, thanks for the great work and tutorials. I've been following your content for awhile, and I've been getting better and better the more I watch your videos - they are awesome! I have a question though. Recently I ran into the weird situation of my local leather supply store having run out of Resolene. Since I needed it asap, I asked if they have something similar, and they recommended me Fiebing's Institutional leather finish. Sure enough, I bought it and tried it on one of my projects, and it seemed to look and behave quite similar to Resolene. Do you think it's okay to use this product, and are there big differences with Resolene? Unfortunately I couldn't find much info on the web about it's performance as a seal for tooling. Thanks in advance!
