Victor Olofsson scored two of his team's five unanswered goals in the third period, as the Buffalo Sabres came back to defeat the Pittsburgh Penguins 6-3.

It's not a mirage people! These kids can fly! With solid goaltending watch out. They have amazing goalie prospects in the NCAA too. If not this year Buffalo will be sick good soon!

its a beautiful thing each home game seeing the fans start to return little by little. waiting to see if the sabres can fill their stadium during regular season in who knows how long

This Sabres team is different from the flashes in the pan we've seen before. I'll admit I was worried about seeing another hot start, then falling off a cliff, but these kids are the real deal. It's not without its lapses, but they're young and will learn over time. When they control play they look unstoppable, they just build that momentum and you can feel the goal coming before it happens. Everyone is contributing and working hard. In past years it's always just been 2, at most 3 guys who would be putting up the points/goals. The stat sheet is spread out like butter on bread so far this year. These kids have all bought into being a Buffalo Sabre and they're playing with a lot of pride.

To the one Pittsburgh fan that was chirpy with me about beating Buffalo in preseason when I respectfully was trying to explain to him that Sabres benched more than half of their players for that game.... This is the actual team you have to play against.
