Το συναρπαστικό ταξίδι του El Sistema Greece στο Καράκας της Βενεζουέλας, για το II Congreso Mundial El Sistema ολοκληρώθηκε και το γεγονός αυτό σηματοδότησε ένα σημαντικό ορόσημο για εμάς, καθώς βρεθήκαμε στο μέρος όπου δημιουργήθηκε το El Sistema και που συνεχίζει μέχρι σήμερα να μας εμπνέει. To II Congreso Mundial ήταν το πρώτο δια ζώσης Παγκόσμιο Συνέδριο που φιλοξενήθηκε στην έδρα του Εθνικού Κέντρου Κοινωνικής Δράσης για τη Μουσική.

Συγκεντρώνοντας μουσικά προγράμματα από όλο τον κόσμο, το καθένα εμπνευσμένο από τις αρχές του El Sistema, αυτό το συνέδριο ήταν μια ζωντανή γιορτή της μουσικής, της εκπαίδευσης και της κοινωνικής αλλαγής. Με μια ατζέντα με ποικίλες δραστηριότητες, οι μέρες αυτές ενσαρκώνουν την ουσία αυτού που οραματίστηκε ο Maestro Jose Antonio Abreu.

Στο πλαίσιο αυτό μέλη της ομάδας μας ταξίδεψαν στη γενέτειρα του El Sistema, και συγκεκριμένα στο συνέδριο βρέθηκαν η συνιδρύτρια του El Sistema Greece Elisa Sologni, η γενική διευθύντρια Αγγελική Γεωργοκώστα και ο δάσκαλος μουσικής Γιάννης Ισμυρνιόγλου.

Το ταξίδι μας έγινε ακόμη πιο ξεχωριστό από την παρουσία τεσσάρων μαθητών μας, της Σταυρούλας Καμακάρη και της Ελένης Βασιλείου, μέλη της El Sistema Greece Youth Choir, καθώς και του και Αλέσιο Χίκα (γαλλικό κόρνο) και του Χρήστου Κοτίνη (κρουστά), μέλη της El Sistema Greece Youth Orchestra. Οι μουσικοί μας συμμετείχαν ενεργά στις πρόβες και τις μεγάλες συναυλίες που πραγματοποιήθηκαν κατά τη διάρκεια αυτών των σημαντικών ημερών, και μοιράστηκαν τη σκηνή με μουσικούς από προγράμματα του Sistema σε όλο τον κόσμο ως μέλη της Παγκόσμιας Ορχήστρας και της Παγκόσμιας Χορωδίας που δημιουργήθηκαν.

El Sistema Greece's exciting trip to Caracas, Venezuela, for the II Congreso Mundial El Sistema has come to an end and this event marked an important milestone for us, as we found ourselves in the place where El Sistema was created and which continues to inspire us to this day. The II Congreso Mundial was the first live World Congress hosted at the headquarters of the National Centre for Social Action for Music.

Bringing together musical programs from around the world, each inspired by the principles of El Sistema, this congress was a vibrant celebration of music, education and social change. With an agenda of diverse activities, these days embodied the essence of what Maestro Jose Antonio Abreu envisioned.

As part of this, members of our team traveled to the birthplace of El Sistema, and specifically at the conference were El Sistema Greece co-founder Elisa Sologni, General Manager Angeliki Georgokosta and Music Teacher Giannis Ismirnioglou.

Our trip was even more special by the presence of four of our students, Stavroula Kamakari and Eleni Vassiliou, members of the El Sistema Greece Youth Choir, as well as Alessio Hyka (French horn) and Christos Kotini (Percussion), members of the El Sistema Greece Youth Orchestra. Our musicians actively participated in the rehearsals and major concerts held during these important days, and shared the stage with musicians from Sistema programs around the world as members of the World Orchestra and World Choir that were created.
