Mike Seidel (SIDE-ell) will be a GREAT addition to Fox Weather. I miss some of the early TWC OSMs, especially Jeanetta Jones, Dave Schwartz, and John Hope who are all no longer with us. The Weather Channel - when it just did WEATHER, back in the 90s - was great to leave on as "background noise", with the live-ish segments interspersed with "your local forecasts" accompanied by instrumental smooth jazz and new age. Ahh, the memories.

NewsNet was based in Detroit suburb Farmington Hills. It was not carried by local cable, but was available over-the-air on low-power WHNE, Ch. 3. Your definition of a 'cable network' - vs a channel needs some work.

I watch Fox Weather all the time. In my opinion it’s so much better than Weather Channel.

I thnk VENU is coming in way too expensive at $42.99. What will they do with TNT once it loses the NBA? VENU should be at max $29.99. Their were polls done that showed very few were interested in the product at the $42.99 price point.

For live streaming I like Sling. It gives me everything I want for a reasonable price.

This isn't a question, but a important update for Luke: the NFL will not let you watch nfl+ games on laptops anymore, just highlights. Ppl were using this as a workaround for Sunday ticket because they would plug a hdmi to their laptops and watch full replays of games.

Weather Channel stopped showing current weather unless severe weather was occurring somewhere that impacts the United States. Filled air time with shows about tornados, flood, sink holes, etc.

Luke - used Accuweather for years. Far better than the alternatives on accuracy where I live.

Fox weather has been my go to hoping they can keep from being over dramatic and just keep it real when reporting major weather events.

I would be shocked if see things like MTV Classic, CMT 3, Logo etc or other similiar channels shut down, because they can survive with almost no budget as ghost channels that show some low/no cost content like Ridiculousness on the air at any hour, or tv rerun packages that Paramount already is on the hook for.
