Ratio and Proportion - Find the Value of N

When dealing with ratio were talking about comparing the quantities of two things. And proportion is comparing two ratios. To find the value (usually N) the missing term of the given proportion simply do the cross product. To find the value of N (the missing term) after doing the cross product, divide the number besides N(any variable/letter that's used) to both sides of the equation. What ever the result will be the value of N or the missing term.
