The last anything I bought physically at Target was a copy of The Matrix in blu-ray steelbook. They were having a clearance sale so they could reduce the movies to a single aisle. I don't shop for movies there anymore. This was at least a year and a half ago.

I agree. Best Buy is getting bad too. The Walmart near me is still holding it down.

Where I live both Walmarts and targets stopped selling physical media, I'm devastated 😢😢😢

My local Target is depressing too. I live in a small town where the only stores like this we have are Walmart and Target. We lost Kmart and Shopko a few years ago and it totally sucks. I love buying movies at retails instead of online if I have the chance to do it.

Yea I went to my local target the other day and they only had an end cap where physical media was and the rest of the section was books target did sway with almost all there physical media where I live so I will not be going back to target and what makes it worse the best buy in my area has cut down there physical media to end caps and one very little section so it looks like if you really want to buy physical media you will most likely do your buying on line and that is so sad to see how physical media has gone from being at least 3 or more aisle to just end caps now

you should have seen the Walmart in my area. the only thing new is a movie called vesper and it was on dvd. oh and different st.valentines related movies with different covers. depressing. also depressing the amount of 4.99 dvds piling on a crate.

I did my taxes last week. Accountant had two questions. When was something about some check somewhere and the other one was "What is Shout Factory and Vinegar Syndrome" 😂😂😂 The boutique labels are raking it in. I can't believe these big box stores are letting go of all that money.

Medial in stores is dead not enough people buy media or I'm sure it gets stolen how else do people on eBay sell new releases in bulk so cheap it's sad

Yes I don't like going to Target for physical media BUT if I was a fan of BOOK'S and didn't want to go sign out books at a Library then I be a Target shopper lol
