Verkada - Introducing the GW31-E WiFi gateway

In a position to lack wired Internet access, and looking for a cost effective solution to bridge your Verkada (and even other) devices to the LAN? If you have good WiFi strength, look no further, as the new outdoor WiFi6 gateway is here. Built on the strengths of the cellular gateway, and boasting the same benefits (including a ruggedized design, optional directional antennas, PoE enabled downstream ports), it will fit neatly into your Command platform.

🗒️ GW31-E gateway:

➡️ has a WiFi6 chipset that will connect via 2.4 or 5Ghz frequencies to an existing SSID, NATing downstream traffic and providing connectivity to the Internet for one or multiple devices,

➡️ can be provisioned by being connected directly into the LAN, by accessing the Local Status page, or via Bluetooth and the Verkada mobile app,

➡️ has two PoE powered downstream ports, that can provide up to 60W of power,

➡️ can be powered by PoE, DC barrel jack or terminal blocks.

🗒️ CM42-S improvements:

➡️ regular USB-C cable (vs a proprietary one), that can span up to 7.5 meters (2 meters included),

➡️ micro-HDMI output for public view monitors (plus the ability to display a custom message),

➡️ audio jack for recording,

➡️ new Ambarella chipset bringing all tracklet based search, analytics and alerts (line crossing, loitering, Occupancy Trends).
