At 17:14:45, in the uncut version in a bastion, we can see SB hotkey a crossbow into his first slot, and unintentionally switch his sword out for it. I find it really funny that he lost his maxed out sword for a 1 durability crossbow, but if he ever does another 24 hours on that world, he knows where to find his sword.

First of all, Congrats! It's not a easy challenge!
Second, unfortunately, according to this video, SB lost his sword between 6:45:13 and 6:40:17 when he noticed he lost his sword, probably when he was visiting a bastion previously at 6:45:13 or, just throw it out while flying

He put his sword in the chest in the bastion
Edit: in this cut version he doesn’t show him doing it but in the uncut version he says there’s nothing in there then opens the chest again swaps the sword with a crossbow then uses the crossbow it breaks then he flies away.

In all reality this is definitely an interesting video. I suggested this idea to some friends of mine because I thought doing this with a bunch of friends would be fun. They weren't too keen on it. One friend did bring up a good point though, definitely a thing that's not easy to do unless you have a lot of time on your hands or its part of your job to play Minecraft.
