International Day of Yoga (IDY) is celebrated annually worldwide. Croatia was one of the 177 countries that collectively supported the Resolution for the designation of IDY at the United Nations.
The first IDY in Croatia in 2015 was celebrated during 01-21 June 2015 in 16 locations in Croatia, which increased to 40 locations in the same period last year.
This year, as a symbol of the 75th Anniversary of India's Independence, the multiple stakeholders in Croatia have decided, along with the Embassy of India in Zagreb, to celebrate the 8th IDY during 01-21 June 2022 in 75 different locations.
The final event of this chain of 75 events would take place in the beautiful Park Zrinjevac in Zagreb between 09.00-10.30 am on 21 June (Tuesday).
