I have to say, this film was emotional. HOWEVER. The moment that stuck with me the hardest was the build up with the characters, the music and then "I'M NOT GOOD ENOUGH" and the LOUD SILENCE that followed. It felt like everyone in the cinema was holding their breath. That moment was like a punch to the heart.

So I’m a 14 year old girl and I just watched it today and I was bawling by the end of it bc I felt like I related to the entire movie, down to every last bit of it and especially the part at the end where Riley finally accepts herself, I relayed to it because I started feeling anxiety and all these complicated emotions around 11 years old and then once my grandpa died, I kind of broke and became like Riley towards the end where she was anxious and stuff. But eventually I have been able to grieve and I have accepted myself, and it just hit close to home. I truly believe the producers of Inside Out decided to wait for all the little kids at the time to grow up and start to experience it all and I think it’s beautiful.
