For those saying Mothra can’t come back because she’s dead: Mothra’s big thing is reincarnation. Before a battle she will lay and egg and if she dies she is reincarnated with all of her memories and battle experience. It’s why Godzilla and Mothra have an established history of fighting monsters together despite the fact that she was hatched in KOM. If I understand correctly there have been multiple deleted scenes that feature the egg. Her reincarnation is a thing from the old Toho movies. C’mon y’all she’s called the Queen for a reason. She’s one of four alpha titans we have met so far. PS the reason Mothra has late to the fight was because she went off laid the egg.
