Parc de la Villette is something of a modern art park.

From la Géode which is the big rounded sphere, composed of 6433 metallic mirrors, to the red metallic walkway going through the crazy turning chairs; you will be pleased if you want to take stupid pictures during the afternoon ;p

In la Villette Park, you can quit the city for a while and get into the tropical bamboo forest.

By the way, when you are in La Villette you can also visit the Science Museum also known as La Cité des Sciences et de l'Industrie de la Villette.
