I set my DVR to record, and watched your segment. Beautiful multiple arch bridge. Never thought of Sake before, but you motivated me to search it and found that the polishing ratio can create a range of flavors. Apparently, the more polished, the more expensive. For a moment I thought you were going to echo the famous line from the movie Forrest Gump, “Life is like a box of chocolates.” I thought you were going to say “Life is like a box of sushi.” :)

shall we stop sharing the "secret gems" ? haha... i just came from japan and imo the whining about over-tourism is overblown, sure the few very famous places were full of people, but everything just left and right was as empty as it ever was. just downtown kyoto is a bit on the annoying side, poor people who live there. banking on a strong yen in the future to blow most of the opportunistic visitors away
