The supposed predators of the nether are all Basically scared of the warped forest or generally avoid it, and they can step out for extended periods of time like some fish can go on land for a while before needing to go back in the water. Striders likely shortly go and eat before walking back into lava.

Wrong just like @frostbitew1273 said the nether seems to be a cold place which is why the undead thrives there and it seems the striders evolved to live in lava but can step out for extended amounts of time for food since the only other mob there are enderman simple explanation (I wanna see more non undead mobs in the nether soon)

And also because in one of matpat's Videos he explained that the nether had frozen age how did the striders survive the ice age?

Hoglins can’t be in warped forests it scares them
