My granddaughter isn't fond of not-cooked veggies (well, mushrooms, scallion & leafy greens are fine). I'm thinking I might steam the tougher ones as separate entities on a plate in the microwave, and then pack them in, because she's definitely a fan everything in your recipe. Especially bell pepper, carrot, etc. would need a pre-cook. But I love this concept (& exactly your way when just for me).

I assume boiling actual stock would be good, too.

Think I'll give this a shot myself. Personally not a fan of edamame but I'll just replace it with something else as you suggested. Very nice!

I tried doing this, and mines has a funny taste. I think it's the vermicelli. I used mushrooms and green onion. I want to try miso along with the bouillon. Please tell me if I'm doing something wrong

Can anyone guess at the measurements of the soup base? I’m a horrible cook and have no idea with these things- would love to try it, but I’m sure I’ll find a way to mess it up without exact measurements 😩. Even the link to her full recipe didn’t mention measurements from what I could see
