I went here in 2019 with my dad, drove one of the 432's. Still my favourite thing that was said to me- "You can now say you’ve technically driven a Rolls Royce". And don’t get me started on the museum. Really loved it there.

My dad loved those things even when they got hit an he spent 3 months in a Italian hospital the Germans retreated an he was sent to England to finish recovery he tought he was going home but he was assigned a halftrack an sent into Germany he made it through the war but he died a early age 63

I love the look of the tanns tracks not rolling, but rather being laid out for the wheels to go over them. It feels even better with shermans because of the flat track shape on the inside.

For those who may not know, the pieces that extend off the treads are actually additions! This tank had naturally narrow treads, but it made maneuvering in mud or rough terrain an issue. Those were added to give more surface area and traction to the tank so it wouldn't sink into mud, very common on the jumbo Sherman which was much heavier than a normal one.
