I wanted to try something a bit different, so I edited the entire Boogie Nights film with an entirely new soundtrack (minus two songs.) Featuring an all new soundtrack, including music from Michael Jackson, Donna Summer, Earth, Wind & Fire, A Taste of Honey, GQ, and many more!

Boogie Nights is my favorite film, so this was a labor of love with over 120 hours invested in this project.

While it doesn't *improve* the film (that's impossible!)--this lovingly selected and beautifully edited and mixed new soundtrack made re-watching this gem for my 50-somethingth time a fun, new experience. Bravo, Mr. Funkel!

Watched the full edit. We all know that anything that comes from GF is amazing...this edit lives up to the same level of excellence. Some songs fit so much better (i.e. KC Sunshine Band/MJ), I can't help but hope that PTA much have tried to get some of these selections first. My only hangup is that I can't get over the original's classic opening. While thematically, lyrically, and even rhythmically GF's edit fits, I just love the mood that "Best of My Love" gets me in. Overall, I think this music edit is superior to the original and compliments the movie so well. I hope PTA watches it. RIP Burt Reynolds, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Philip Baker Hall, Ricky Jay, and so many others who helped make this movie what it is.
