They are all acting like Tesla hasn't received more money from the US Government than BYD did from China. (And Ford gets bailouts) China has exponentially superior infrastructure. They have battery change stations for some cars, no charging wait. They invested globally in supply chain through belt & road. They invested in STEM education to meet the engineering and manufacturing needs. A STEM degree in China costs about $2000 USD and we bring them over on H1B visas to compete with Americans who pay $200K. Invest in America or get left behind.
