Показать описание
Important steps to write the equation from the graph of logarithmic function are discussed in the video.
• What are Logarithms?
Properties of Logarithms with Proof
• Write exponential equations in logarithmic forms
• Evaluate each logarithms
• Evaluate common logarithms
• Evaluate natural logarithms
Logarithms are inverse of exponential functions. Converting logs to exponential forms helps to evaluate or solve equations. Rules of logarithms can be applied to simplify expressions. Simple approach in the video helps to understand the basic concepts.
Logarithmic rule for change of base can be applied to simplify expressions with different basses as shown in the video with many examples.

Can you do an example with the Vertical and Horizontal compression/expansion and with the Vertical translation? Like the whole transformed function? Thanks though it really helped me.

How would you work this out if you do not have the x-intercept?

great explanation, but what would I do if I wasn't given an intercept, just 2 other points?

How would we find logarithmic functions from just points themselves?

Sir, if you are only given one point can you still determine the equation? Or only give a set of values for each variable?

What do you do if say, the graph was reflected over the x axis and shifted up, making the known point have a Y value of 0? You end up with a^0 = (some value) and idk what to do from there
