I thought it was beautiful that they started Fast 9 off like this. Now we finally got to see what happen when Dom told that story to Brian on the first fast and furious. It was exactly how he said and I remember seeing the pain in Dom's eyes when he told Brian about his dad's death.

This was a treat to watch since we never seen any NASCAR action in the furious franchise

They kept the tradition of starting since the 6th Fast and Furious movie with a opening race. This Stock Car Race was different, and enjoyable to watch. The 1988 NASCAR racing scene is one of my favorites and the music score was great. However, I wish we could've seen the beginning of the race when all the cars were at the starting line. I really enjoyed the Stock Car Racing scene, but wish it could've been at least 8 minutes long. Kenny Linder may have pushed Jack's car, but it was that one car that sent Dom's dad to his death. We never saw who won the Stock Car Race, cause they never mentioned it during the next flashback. Here's an idea for the beginning of Fast and Furious 10, the movie should start off with Dom and the crew hanging out at Race Wars again. We could finally see a rematch race between Sean and Dom, a Han vs Sean race or a Letty vs Mia race.

No amount of words can describe how i felt when i first saw this scene in the theater, i never actually thought we'd ever see a flashback scene of how Dom's father died, or Dom hitting Kenny with the wrench, but thats all the more why I fucking love these movies.

Irwindale Nights: The Ballad of Jack Toretto

I remembered seeing this movie with my ex-girlfriend last year and it was dope. The first scene I do have to admit that it was pretty sad that Dom Torretto's Father was burned to death after being what I would call pit maneuvered by another driver that caused the car to fly in the air and causing a blaze. According to what I remembered I believe that Dom Toretto in The Fast and the Furious was talking about how he watched his dad burn to death. Finally some of us car enthusiasts let alone fast and furious fans got the chance to see how Dom's father dies.
