The core class toys have just been so fun. I'm already a fan of the Titans so being able to make a giant combined city then drive a little Megatron around or fly a little Seeker past the giant Omega Supreme rocket just makes me feel like a kid again.

According to the QR code in the instructions, the accessory is an “ENERGON WARP FORK”, which “infuses teleportation ability with Energon to unleash unstable energy”

whatever that means.

You said about the weapon being some kind of slingshot, and that to me actually really works with Skywarp. I always saw Skywarp as this kind of bully among the deceptions, and I feel it would be so in his character to trade in his nullrays for something like this just to be able to use it to pick on the other deceptions and any unlucky autobots.

Another idea I had was a portable teleport launcher, not for himself, but like he can set coordinates and whoever he shoots gets warped away, like the Warpers from Subnautica.

For anyone who's unsure about the accessories: Iguanus is a FANTASTIC toy, easily my favourite core class (the seekers aren't far behind though!), Hot Rod's no slouch either, the combo sword is really marvelous whether you're giving it to cores or smaller deluxes like Cliffjumper, and you can get some 3D printed null rays off etsy for about five bucks plus shipping.

There's just one tiny thing you have to be aware of if you want to try that sword out yourself: To get Skywarp's bit of the sword to line up with Iguanus's bit of the sword in a cohesive perpendicular way, you have to trim the peg on the side down by about a mm. If you have plastic snips for model kits you'll be fine with those. It makes it slightly harder to fit that peg into Skywarp's hand, but let's be real, you weren't going to do that.

I've never tried getting the seekers other than Starscream, cos he's my lad. But I got Core Starscream when that came out and, yeah, I'm gonna have to get whatever repaints they do cos they'll be great, they'll be cheap and they won't take up loads of space. This mold is so neat and the core class has been showing off some real cleverness with its efficient transformations.

Despite clearly not liking it a lot, Thew made a great point about the Earthrise Seeker mold. I got into Transformers during Siege, but I really wanted an in-scale Earth Mode Seeker team. A long time ago I saw Phelous's Review of Seeker Aces and I really liked the Classics guys, so when I actually started collecting Transformers, I basically got an HD remaster of one of THE DEFINITIVE Seeker molds. Leter on, I got my hands on the actual classics mold, but I only did it because I liked everything that was similar between it and the new one.

With the Black and Purple and the Black Backdrop I actually didn't notice the lack of Null Rays, and honestly he doesn't really need them if you don't give him the 'W' he came with. But seriously those Combiner Wars Null Rays looks amazing on him and totally worth moving them over.

Also how weird and awesome is it that Skywarp got the #2 seeker release instead of Thundercracker?

Just wanted to say, your Skywarp shrine has inspired me to collect my own shrine to our favorite blue noisy boy. Currently I have Siege Soundwave, G1 Soundwave, and Core Class Soundwave. I'm working on tracking down the BBM Soundwave and Ravage, as well as Cybertron.

I swear Thew can make a video about a fucking Mcdonalds Transformer toy from 2002 that is nothing more than just a single piece of plastic with barely any paint applications on it, and still make it funny, entertaining, heartfelt and say something about the wider transformer collecting sphere in general

I think you just gave the best analogy for what the Earthrise Seekers were, an HD Remaster. And I guess that makes it alright.
But I do need to get me a Warp of my own. Just not sure if I'll go Core or actually go for the 2-pack.
