Odin Mine - Derbyshire's Oldest Lead Mine?

Just outside the village of Castleton, beneath the mighty Mam Tor sits a rather old disused mine named Odin Mine. It's unclear when it was first worked nor by whom however it's believed to be the oldest lead mine in the county of Derbyshire and perhaps even one of the oldest lead mines in England.
