This genuinely took forever man, gotta admit though i do like how it came out. Def gonna try and do full speed ahead next, kinda my dream to do an animatic for the full musical but thats a lot so im just gonna keep going until i don’t wanna anymore, might post a speed paint or a smaller animatic between the next one though.

This was amazing!! The way you did the switch to when he finally decides he’s going to do it is so insanely cool. The red and just how lowkey animalistic he looked with the helmet on. Also loved the part where he pulls back the drapes, that was really nicely done!!

Duuuude i really like the motif of the metaphorical blood on Odysseus' hands becoming literal.

And having each question transition from one image to the other, like showing a shooting star on "when does a comet" and transitioning that into a massive meteorite on "become a meteor?", and then using that to contrast with "when does a man become a monster?" by not having any image transition on that line and just holding on Odysseus was a genious way to subtly answer him by suggesting that he is at the point where a man becomes a monster.

Also, youre the only person I've seen include Andromache (the baby's mother), and oh my god that made the whole thing so brutal.

I cant wait to see what you do with the rest of Epic!

LOVE the use of color for this one. Love the way you draw Odysseus. Love the symbolism used here- it must've felt like he was wading through the darkest waters when he walked towards that ledge. Wonderful storytelling through visuals!!

Oh *wow* I love the way you animated the chorus! The blaze and the meteor, and the water rising...! Also really love your Odysseus design with the locs, and how different he already is from when he left for war in the flashbacks.

Let me tell you, I already love the art style. I've been trying to curate a playlist compiled of animatics of all the Epic songs, but I haven't been able to find anyone who has done all of them, resulting in a mishmash of different styles. Damn this looks incredible!! I love his beautiful locs and the part where he wades through metaphorical water is beautiful.
