Here's the first part of DLC3's cooking showdown. As mentioned in the previous video, you get to choose the gameplay and the final bosses for DLC3. The Buddhists from Myouren Temple are the final bosses for the musical showdown, while the Hermits from Miko's Senkai / Dojo are the final bosses for the cooking showdown.

Storywise, I think you're supposed to challenge the Hermits since the the musical showdown ending gives Kyouko an actual character arc, but if you want to clear DLC3 the fastest, challenging Myouren Temple is the fastest (but not necessarily easier) way to do it. If you're not confident in your rhythm game skills, the good news is that this challenge is a step down in difficulty, sort of.

Unlike previous bosses, you're facing the boss in a side-by-side cooking challenge where you both share a pool of customers and the one who serves the most dishes / gets the highest score wins. You can't directly affect the boss, though they can certainly mess with you.

Each customer only appears once and rare customers are included in the pool too. For the first two bosses, it's smart to cook some character specific dishes since serving just the generic customers is hard (you don't get to set your own dishes, and some dishes they ask for will take too long to cook).

You also get to choose playable characters in this challenge:

-Aunn: Considered the "weakest" of the three playable characters, she can go into Hyper Mode just like Mystia and Kosuzu but doesn't get Sparrow Toss (aka the skill that lets you fling dishes and drinks at customers from far away) so she has to spend time actually delivering dishes to customers. I chose her, then Kosuzu, then Mystia, because I wanted to have Mystia for the final challenge. Note that if you play well, you don't even need to do all three bosses.

-Seiga: The first of the three cooking bosses. Her skills are Wall Passing (lets her run directly towards guests), Manipulation (the description sounds weird, but I think she can mark guests and prevent you from servicing them for a while) and Supreme Chef (can instantly cook anything with the Chinese tag).

I didn't find her to be too difficult, though my experience might be a bit different; I defeated Yuyuko, Koishi and Toutetsu back to back before jumping straight into DLC3, so I didn't struggle much (this was actually my first attempt). She might be a bit tougher if, like most players, you haven't played TMI in a while.

NOTE: If you want to finish this showdown early, I recommend playing Kosuzu and Mystia in the first two rounds. If you win the first two rounds, you can skip the third and most troublesome boss entirely.
