I love how these families are strict but never actually yell at the kids. The kids then become respectful out of genuine respect, not out of fear.

Honestly, these parents are really calm and respectful. No crazy rules, no extreme punishments. I would definitely choose these parents over some on this show.

Evelyn is an incredibly nice girl. It’s so sweet that she took Emily under her wing & taught her to ride. I hope that Emily continues riding once she returns home.

I think all Emily wanted was parents who were there. That’s why she started to behave in the middle of the episode, they were actually disciplining her and talking with her.

As soon as he said "there are no such thing as bad kids" i knew that they were exceptional parents.

I really admire the Irish parents, they aren’t necessarily strict but are dedicated to their kids and really want them to become polite and happy people, and I think that’s the idea of outstanding parents

When the girls mum said “what did you learn about how you should treat your mum” completely shows the problem, the issue is with the parents and that reflects on the kids, it’s not about how she treats her parents, it’s about their parenting. Really they should send the parents on these trips 😂

Somehow it is so sad that after one week away from their families these kids blossom up so much - just imagine how toxic and depressing their familiy life must have been. And i can totally relate. I loved and after ten years still love my guest family in another country far more than my real one.

The Irish lads in the school finding Harry entirely unfunny is just hilarious

I like how they're strict but also really patient with the girl, not screaming or demanding.

One doesn't "lose control" of one's child. One gives up control. Somewhere along the line it started.

These Ireland parents are being real parents and I dint see anything wrong with it at all. Congrats to the Ireland family for being consistent with rules, boundaries and consequences with their kids.
