You forgot Donny (testament to his United career)

The Ugarte signing is massive.
Finally an athlete in the middle.
That allows Bruno and Mainoo to actually be the players they always were.
I'm hungover as fuck but smiling.
Twenty years we've waited for somebody with bollocks like this lad.
Ooh me head.
I'm having a vodka.
Up.
The
Fucking
Reds.

Very competent window by United. Shows the absolute fuckery that Woodward era was. Excited for the season now.

I think the fact it's come out that they're not targeting "short-term" signings (i.e. Toney/Rabiot/Hermoso) might be quite telling. They probably already know who they're going to target in the next couple windows. Finally acting like a well-run club!

For me it’s been a 8.5 window for me ❤(Sancho to Chelsea is a big plus)

I’m just happy we haven’t paid over 50 million for a player. And we’ve added a couple academy players that smell of Brighton type scouting. Good window and the start of INEOS reign

I think this was our best summer transfer window. The amount of variables and issues facing INEOS at the start of the window was unenviable. They have signed the manager FIVE first team players and rid the squad of a significant amount of dead wood. They generated club record money in sales and made a PSR profit. They even helped ETH by resolving permanently the Sancho situation which cannot be overstated from a squad harmony perspective. That is backing and helping a manager, getting rid of negative/dissenting voices.

best window I can't remember in over a decade

Has anyone else watched so much of Ste's content that they join in at the end with his "If you are new around these parts..." sign of? Just me?

Cang fix everything in 1 window. I think this is a fantastic start

Agree totally. The board are finally performing as they should. No old farts on loan. No past masters on their last legs. Every signing has at least 6 years of prime time to come.

Honestly, I would have like to see a striker who we can rely on for 20+ goals, but other than that it's a 7.5/10 window for me. Can't really fault it.

I'm loving the tribalism around Sancho online, like Chelsea have had our pants down. I wanted him to do well, but this is a player who has never had a single impressive game for United since he signed in 2021. We're not 'losing' anything other than his insane wages.
He'll do well at Chelsea this year because he is literally playing for his career at the top level, he wants another big contract next year and wants to prove everyone wrong... He has a lot of motivation. However, the fact that succeeding at United for his own professional pride and to repay the club for the massive fee wasn't enough motivation speaks volumes about the lad. His head is in the wrong place, which we knew.

Getting sancho off the books immediately added an extra point to the window for me, . So glad we don't have to deal with thet anymore.

For Alvaro Fernandez...harry amass is better at everything. As much as people doubt amass defensively he is better at it than alvaro was...better positioning, better game reading, he is more mobile and crosses as good. I think alvaro is actually better as a DM (from his time in Madrid academy) than as a LB. In the DM position he plays like matic

I consider Sekou Koné a first team signing. The way they announced him tells me a lot about the club’s intentions. I reckon he spends a couple of months with a youth team just to bed in, and then joins the senior team.

The fact Donny was sold for £500k and wasn’t mentioned just pays testament to his United career.

Can’t do everything in one window but for the first time in years I’m happy with our business it’s amazing what some competence does.

Sad to see McT gone - a true Red & such a smart guy (one of the few pro footballers who can talk after a game and you feel he has a good brain in there tbh. Sorry how that sounds...) grafting & applying himself without stellar amounts of skill, but agree with analysis that it's a good deal. Seemed poetic and prophetic that the Zirkzee winner (having helped create it) vs Fulham was almost snatched of the toes of McT.
Yep, basically agree with the summaries: best window in YEARS. Be a shxt if they mostly get injured, eh?🤔 Damn, it's hard not to be cynical since Siralex.
Really hope those left justify their continued presence!

Good window. Very good, considering the hurdles caused by the previous regime

Three windows was the plan, to be competitive. This was a great start, sell on clauses included, incoming prices paid lower than the press were shouting about too.
Lots of youngsters....

Seriously more focused than how windows have gone for a decade. The future is bright, the future is ORANGE 😂😂😂

It was said before this window started that 3 windows were required to sort everything wrong with United. With that in mind cant wait to see what the next 2 windows bring ! Strong 8 out of 10 for this one.
