Short of actually dropping it on the trail, I think you’ve done a pretty rigorous test of the Pocket 3. Fully agree with all your review statements and I think DJI is working hard on some level of water resistence for the next model. As for the gimbal’s durability, what would you say if I told you my older Pocket 2 fell out of my jacket when I was up on the roof of my 2-level house? It landed onto my front yard. Other than some grit and a minor scratch on the gimbal arm it was still working when I went down to pick it up!😳👍🏼😄

Steven, very thorough and compelling review from an action camera perspective. Less concerned about durability, I think I've fallen once on a technical trail and flipped my GoPro. More concerned about rain and humidity (sweat) in the Northeast where I live (maybe not as bad as TN). You've definitely opened my eyes and given me something to think about. Thanks.

I have had the pocket 3 for 3 weeks loving it, great rewiev. I took the dji 2 year insurance aswell. Good to see that it can be used for us runners aswell 😁 i have only used it inside for now. But will try it for some runs beside my gopro hero 10

By the way if you run people were getting shaky video. Do you think there is a problem with their pocket 3

Hi Steven and thank you for such an interest review. Mine arrives tomorrow, so glad I saw your review. Do you use the Pocket 3 handheld for running or on a selfie stick. I also have the Go Pro 12 with the wide mode and that too is great, but the battery life is still a problem. I just now wish I had waited for the Pocket 3. Still I can use the Go Pro in the rain. Finally found a video using Osmo Pocket 3 during action/sports activities. Me and my wife do cycling and running. We have bought the Osmo Pocket 3, but so far only use it for family activities and vacations. Here, we live in tropical country, very hot and humid. With that exposed USB charger and micro SD card, how do you think this Pocket 3 will fare with sweat?
