Nice. I really like this character. Just my biggest gripe is how unreliable the shield stacking combo can be. I see her as mainly defensive sustain unit. And therefore my playstyle would be to quickswap her to recharge my shield and nuke with her burst when it's up. To alleviate her concerto I put her on that blade that gives concerto, and went with moonlit so her burst comes up more often which in return gives more concerto. Thing is the energy/concerto generation isn't even the problem. It's the fact your 3-string can be interrupted by a lot of things. If the enemy goes 2 steps back, and you want to walk up the 2 steps. That's already enough to ruin the combo. That part should have a timing window to allow you to dodge or walk up to complete your 3 hits.
If they did that she would all of a sudden be a solid unit. And I don't think it's asked too much as the healers in the game have by far not as many restrictions to get their heals off.

A bit of a correction. You can still charge her energy by using her skill, then swaping off to another character. So using her skill at the start will let you swap into her with a full bar, and the intro skill starts off with a parry which lets you use them immediately after switching in, rinse and repeat

It's so wierd to hear some one say this. I use her in quick swap and she absolutely obliterates. I have on many occasions 1-2 shot a wave of mobs using her ult and counter autos at level 70

Very grateful you actually took her to 70 for the video. +1 sub 👍. For anyone who wants to no life her and keep her on field, then you need to build attack as well. That's because outside of her timed counters, her normal basics scale off attack. Not her most ideal play style, but it'll let you get up to 2k-6k per basic depending on crit ratio. That's my experience at least.

Bruise/Heavy hitting characters area usually my favorite characters in any game and Taoqi is no exception . Overall Taoqi feels like a 4star Danjin . She’s more meant to be a Quickswap subdps and support than main carry . The most consistent way to do get maximum value from her with her intro skill and Dreamless spam .

what if you create a team around her, get 2 support character that get their concerto very quickly. So use a forte, swap to a support, fill the concerto then swap back to taoqi. Wouldn't that alleviate her weakness?

I'd like to see them tweak her kit so that her timed counters have a short cooldown so she can dodge/reposition without interrupting or losing them. You earn them, shouldn't lose them bc the boss moves or have to face tank a smack. Always feels bad when punished for dodging properly.

As lucky s6 Taoqi owner I have to say her damge is quite good, especially if you use her intro skill to teleport and insta charge her stacks, release a full combo and finish with ultimate. She can also buff Chixia. Best girl 😊.

Shes very conditional, which is unfortunate. Hopefully they buff her forte skill by allowing it to build without requiring full combo. Same for the activation

shes probably the best support for danjin, calcharo jiyan and havoc rover cause her s6 can give 40% basic and heavy attack damage with 100% uptime. thats a massive boost for dps
