why everyone is LEAVING royale high

Even when the highly-anticipated new school was released, the numbers for Royale High didn't go up. In today's video, I talk about 3 reasons why people are leaving Royale High. However, with more updates coming, I'm excited about a potential resurgence of the RH community! I hope this can be a good discussion space for us to talk about the Royale High community recently and can inspire the developers to take action as well.

We created this to help creators, small and big, save time on annoying parts of editing so they can focus on the creative parts. For example, in this video, it helped us add subtitles, emotes, sound effects, and video effects, but the underlying ideas and script for the video were our own.

The main thing I dislike it having to teleport everywhere. Like it takes unnecessarily long time to get anywhere in the campus.

One of the things I hate about royale high imo is how expensive the sets are tbh.

Really miss how RH isn’t even a SCHOOL roleplay game anymore 😭 The devs have seem to forgotten that the game is a Royale HIGH SCHOOL not just a castle where we dress up and do random quests, etc.

As someone who literally has all the game passes (including the 6x diamond multiplier), I still somehow can’t afford to get all of the sets. The inflation in this game is actually crazy 😭. The shoes in the new sets can cost up to 70-90k alone… and with there being more and more elements in each set it’s getting annoying to farm for hours at a time just to complete the set. Not to mention that before the new school came out, they kept the Saint Patrick’s update so the only way you could get a decent amount of diamonds was through enchantix. The whole game is basically just money and aesthetics now. It’s really a shame. I hope the devs will listen one day and we can go back to the good old days.

honestly same thing with bloxburg. with the new owners theyre adding more things for building instead of roleplaying. Our childhood games were built on roleplay and our own creativity but now theyre justing using those games as a cash grab and we dont see the spark in the game anymore

Yeah, I missed the old Royale High. Especially during 2018-2021. Now it's not the same as it was...

Now if anyone even tries roleplaying, they're bullied or harrassed for it . Part of Royale Highs appeal to me was legit just having fun and doing silly school roleplays.

Another thing is, that with the new map and rather "aestehtically pleasing ui" lags and gives a hard time to mobile pkayers, like myself. It nakes our device slower, and it's overrall super confusing to navigate. Most of these little details dont even load on the phone, which defeats the whole purpose. I fell the colour tone is a bit too pink which makes it hard for me to click and see stuff, especially when changing the teleportation from campus to worlds. But again, rhis can be fixed by giving a simpler ui and maybe spawning the players outside of the new campus when they join the game.

im gonna be so honest, the only way i can think to fix it is to pull it back to how it was in 2017-2019 and, beside bug fixes, STOP UPDATING IT.
maybe salvage some things, some sets, sunset island, the memorial, etc, but other than that, just make it SIMPLE again. its so complicated with the new school and cutscenes and all the new stuff, all the people really want is for it to go back how it was, (and enchantix back).

i miss going to the fountain, putting 200 diamonds from my tiny reserves, and losing all of it and not even being mad because the scenario was funny, or getting a dorm with my sister and "playing video games" on the beanbags in her dorm, doing the leprechauns event and getting that SWEET flower crown, the dramatic roleplays, heck, EVEN THE OLD MUSIC USED!! i had to search for years to find the one where you are leaving the ball, and it holds such fond memories now

now, its all about TRADING and HALOS, and DIAMOND FARMING, and its so DEAD.

I definitely agree. When i was younger, rh was like the ONLY game i played cuz its very interactive and it didnt matter about anything cuz the content i watch, the people i socialize, the game itself was interactive and interesting for me for many years. But as the new school was being released, it feels like its only there just to show off how pretty it can be. Its like a place only for pictures. They also got issues with the price of items being so high but the amount of diamonds u get is so low, preventing the use of certain interactive things. Its still fun and i do play it here and there but its just no longer fun anymore..

I remember in 2019 or 2018 when i started playing this game. I loved it and it was fun going to classes and roleplaying as a dark fairy and taking care of the babies in the old campus and playing the new updates like halloween, christmas, easter etc
but then everything started becoming more and more expensive and there was becoming less fun to do because people started stopping to roleplay and i couldnt enjoy dressing up because i couldnt afford anything anymore and grinding was just boring and tiring for me. At some point i just quit because it felt like there was not anything fun to do and even the quests werent exciting at all. Its sad to see what this former fun and exciting game came to be .

I started playing Royale High around 2019. Started to drift away during 2023.

I don't even know where to start, but Royale High has been my childhood game that I always played during the pandemic. I used to excitedly open my laptop just to do my login routines and chill at the trading hub, I remember waiting for every seasonal update that comes out and it was all a blast. I rarely play anymore as I have no idea on what to do at Royale High, I even find Adopt Me much more amusing.

To be honest? I really think its the developers' fault for not listening to the community.

I know how they have been "working hard" on the new school, I even thought in the past that the new school would bring so much joy to the community.

But during the period where we were all just waiting for the new school, it was the time where the player count started going down.

The way the developers just want the game to have standards that a "princess" should have, they even left out the male bodies turning them into a weird looking 11 year old boy's body. Aswell as remaking those blocky accessories to fit the bodices they've made

I 100% agree. The game is more about aesthetics and not actual role playing now, the game is so expensive to play that new players can’t afford ANYTHING. plus there’s nothing to do in the new school accept for like musical chairs…ITS ALSO VERY LAGGY

I quit rh in 2023. Its crazy because I used to be so obsessed with this game. I would have think about it in school, played it for like 6-7 hours straight one day- (not everyday ofc) and i really enjoyed roleplaying. But its no fun anymore. Not now.

Enchantix was the coolest thing that 2018 me ever experienced... I always Loved categories as a child so all the different elements and dorms really tickled my brain
