Prismatic is basically the Mega Millions of Pokemon. It's the massive value of the top hits that drives the success of the set, people are chasing the dollar signs. The pull rates keep the top cards scarce. They also keep me from ever ripping this set, because I understand how odds work unlike the majority of humanity LOL.

After the DR reveal. The prismatic set, is still my fav. it has 13 chase cards I want for my collection. I can’t even remember a set that had 13 chase cards I wanted.

The prismatic for prismatic is insane. There is no way prices will hold at this level after all the products and reprints come out.

Gotta be honest, ANY card from ANY set that's STILL IN PRINT is a no for me if its anything over $100, even if its something missing from my collections. (Mew, Vulpix/Ninetales and Growlithe/Arcanine) There's just no point, ESPECIALLY in the current market, but always true.

Prismatic is the most overhyped set in history. There are some great cards in it sure, but it’s nearly impossible to acquire, and the pull rates are a joke. It’s not worthy of the hype
