Here's a closer look at the new Xbox Duke controller by Hyperkin. It's compatible with the Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and PC. It's to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the original Xbox system.

The reason most goods come with Silica Gel, is actually to fight off humidity while the item is in storage, or in transit.
It's mean to absorb moisture and to keep your packages from being soggy.

I’ve always been a fan of the original Duke controller, and I even got the first Hyperkin Duke for the Xbox One, then later for the 20th anniversary I got the clear purple Halo Cortana Duke controller for the Series X. Just something about it makes me like it a lot.

I love mine! I have the red micro b revision and I bought the 20th anniversary purple Cortana controller as well. Such a nice controller, they’re pricey but they’re some of the best third party controllers I’ve used!

Been waiting for this. Original Duke was best damn controller I ever used.

Can confirm, friends with Duke. His Dad was an OG for doing that. But now hearing it was called the fatty before is hilarious.

I remember it being called "The Duke" from John Wayne and needed manly hands to hold it.

As for my feelings about I ordered two of the new ones. When I dusted off my old Xbox for retro gaming, I ordered two OG Dukes for that console.

Great review! I prefer wired controllers as long as the cord is at least 6' long. I definitely plan on buying this controller.

4:08 wait, the build-in screen is just a novelty to show the boot up animation? It doesn't have any other function?

If they released a Controller S version I would definitely buy it as it's one of my favourite, but the Duke controller is a bit too big for me and the layout of the buttons feels a bit awkward to me. It'd be cool to own it as a collectable, but I probably wouldn't seriously use it. Being wired isn't a problem for me, as I've always preferred wired controllers.

I would've preferred a replica of the original with the black and white buttons at the bottom for full nostalgic effect, but I may get this just for the size. :spitsdrink: 90usd!?

I like and appreciate that particular controller

I always preferred the larger controller. I had larger hands and had no problem with the controller.

I still have my OG xbox and Duke pads. This new controller looks good and the lcd display is great. But I think it's too expensive. That price is an elite controller price. I know the license must of been expensive but still. I think the controller would be better if Hyperkin made the pad a hybrid of the Duke and the revised pad. The Duke D-pad was terrible so they could have swapped it. Also they could have made all the action buttons the same size to make games like Street Fighter easier to play.

My biggest complaint about the 20th anniversary model is the obnoxiously large and bright white modern Xbox logo plastered on the home button instead of the original logo. I hate the bright white light on modern Xbox controllers enough as it is.

Logitech makes a decent wireless controller for the OG XBOX, but yeah it requires a dongle…it is a pretty desirable controller though

My issue with the xbox wasn't the size of the controller but the size of the console it self and it couldn't go on it's side too.
