One of the best things about this show is that it can make you feel for even the most unlikeable characters. By the first 3 episodes of season 3 you were invested in this character who has just been a bitch for almost 2 seasons and they let you know she was since she said it herself. She was really hateable, but after giving her some depth with her family and her boyfriend, you genuinely feel bad for Ruby when she had her heart broken. And, of course, by season 4, she had a complete turn around where she started moving on from Otis and becoming a better person. I really would have hoped Otis would have over Maeve sooner and fallen in love with ruby by the end, but seeing her and maeve move on from Otis who, let's face it, is an arsehole, was wholesome to see. Either way I'm gonna miss this show, especially it's characters. This would have just felt right.

Season 4 was the last season of sex education, and i personally think that the person who wrote the script could have done better since Otis was all alone at the very end. They could have done so, Otis and Ruby were together, and i would have actually been happy since their relationship was very nice and i could tell that when Otis went to Ruby's house and were sitting on her bed they both looked at each other i could tell they both miss each other.
