Hailing from Zurich, Switzerland, Double were a duo, Kurt Maloo and Felix Haug, who had been members of a group named Ping Pong.

They had some successes in Europe but international fame did not arrive until the release of the album “Blue” (UK #69, US #51) in 1985.

Their follow-up album, “Dou3le” was not so successful. “Devil’s Ball” was a track from this album and reached #71 in the UK, when released on the Polydor label.

I met Herb late February 2017 Myrtle Beach SC in a French Bistro. Herb said "I'm a nobody". My parents raised me on Herb Alpert and Sergio Mendez. He was wearing great shoes i could never afford.

I just heard this song for the very first time on German radio station rbb 88.8 and I'm loving it 😍 This is pure 80s sound, long before the term 'bar lounge music' was invented. Herb Alpert's trumpet solo is amazing. This song makes me feel so damn good all over, just like a day at an expensive wellness spa. Thanks for uploading this 80s gem from Switzerland, I'm truly thankful 🙏🏻
