The crazy fact about Denmark's historic Euro 1992 run is that they defeated 3 teams that were considered big favourites:
1.France: Although failed to qualify for Euro 1988 and 1990 World Cup, this team had a fantastic run of winning every single qualifier games with Michel Platini as a manager. It also featured world class players such as Didier Deschamps, Eric Cantona, and Jean Pierre Papin.
2.Netherlands: Reigning Euro champions.
3.Germany: Reigning World Cup winners.

Now, people considered Greece's Euro 2004 triumph as the ultimate underdogs in Euro. They defeated both hosts Portugal and reigning champions France.
