Thanks for the video.  I've seen this video several times because I forget how to do this.  I was able to us a OBJ Sandbag in "The Adventures of Sandbag: Fall into the Matrix Episode 4" because of this video.  When it comes to Maya, sometimes it's hard to find exactly that you are looking for.

You know when you have low poly model and u press "3" to show high quality display where ur model gets smooth. Is there a way to export obj in high display form without having to use "smooth faces" feature, so that it gives smooth obj model without messing up with UV layouts?

Best option available is to purchase and download Element 3D from Videocopilot. It is a product by Andrew Kramer. Very powerful, and extremely low cost for the amount of programming. Cinema 4D and Adobe are partnering up to provide a similar workflow but it is not as fast and obviously only works with C4D files.

Each time I export my selection, (.obj) and open it up in photoshop the holes in my model are filled in. Any ideas why or how to get the holes back?
