I bet no birds actually nest successfully on that island, they migrate, see an island, land to rest and get eaten. I imagine the lancehead is only endangered because of that island, it sounds aggressive and has powerful venom, that's a good combo for not going extinct regardless of predators. If a small group left the island I bet you they would thrive, but I like random birds not going extinct so no on that.
