How does it drive with automatic is it too slow and do you know what kind of gearbox is it conventional Aisin? Thanks in advance

Im about to get as my first car a Ford Cmax 2007. Is the vehicle reliable?? I read something about fuel leaks and it can lead to explosion but I dont know how legit is that information. Any other things I have to keep in mind before buying it? I really like this car (other options are Citroen C4 Picasso / Renault Scenic ) but I prefer this one. Thank so much!
