I love this body style. I worked for many years out of a 1997 Suburban and it was a tough truck and very comfy. I've always wanted a 2 door version of the Tahoe or Yukon. They're hard to find in decent shape. Most have been beat up pretty bad. At least the one's I've found. Finally I found what seems to be a well kept in original condition 1997 GMC Yukon Z71 in Atlanta. It's about 4 hours East. I'm headed out there tomorrow and if everything checks out I'm buying it. I love your truck and I hope to have one soon. Cheers!

Nice truck! I've got a black 99' 4x4 barn door w/ 130K. It's crazy how far engines have come in 25 years. I remember my friends having these in high school and never thought for a minute they were under powered, but now going from my daily to this truck, it seems like a such a dog even though it runs perfect. It's a bummer that for the money and work it takes to get these 5.7 to make the power of stock LS you mine as well just put an LS in it. But I hate to pull a 130K perfectly good motor. Kind of a bummer having your "toy" vehicle be slower than your daily, but still love it.

Oh man, mine is rearer, 98 Ls 4x4 2 door 6, 5 td with barndoors, 140000 miles on the clock, same Had it as a dayly driver for last 15 years, some rust is appearing, but drives like it supposed to, only issues I had to deal with is nomal maintense, like brakes, oil and tires.

I hate to be that guy but look it up. It does not get 21 MPG highway even brand new off the showroom floor. I own one inherited from my father that he bought new. Nice truck tho. Thanks for sharing.
