Warcraft 3: Rise of the Lich King 05 - The Defense of the Harbor

Armelior returns 15 years after the original Rise of the Lich King, a custom campaign for Warcraft 3, with this Reanimated remake. Maps and cinematics have been completely redesigned. This is an alternate story following the Frozen throne campaign. World of Warcraft and the Rexxar story never happen and the Lich King is not content to just sit on the Frozen Throne. Play as Blood Elves, Naga, Humans and Undead through this alternate timeline.

-sometimes I wonder if I went overboard in explaining the details of the Lich King's plan in the cutscene, that's a lot of dialogues ^^
-Wow, going all flyers is really easy mode, when I see how easily you destroyed the 2 “demi-boss” ships at the end, but Jay still had fun so I guess it's all good
-couatls have been nerfed a bit in this campaign
-the lumber sound is indeed for landing the killing blow
-reptile strength is for creatures : turtles, snapdragons, couatls (no clue what kind of animal those are :D) and now basilisks
-I don't remember 100% but I think you can heal the boats with death coil instead of repairing them because they're undead
-stealing battleships is way better than frigates, but weren't needed anyway because OP flying fleet
-when you hit the cap you can use your worker to build another food building
-when I found the tidal worm model, I KNEW I had to use it as a spawn when the tower dies
-I suppose most people know what the easter egg was about even if Jay didn't care (probably because it wasn't about him – joking of course)
-still no siren song :(

It's nice seeing the Lich King take an active role in leading the Scourge here while everyone else not on Kalimdor is basically waiting for his next move. It most certainly is better than him being tossed aside as another footnote in Sylvanis' story in WoW.

WC3 Naga have some reptile (snakes for hair, snake bottom), some fish (fins), some amphibian (breathes air or water) features
then in WoW they got some mollusk (tentacle bottom, snail shells) and some arthropod (crab bottom, crab legs for fingers) features
they're just a pastiche of underwater life, cannot be classified by IRL categories

Did I hear right that Jay said at 33:26 that the holidays are coming up with Christmas and new years? Unless Jay is talking about 2023 Christmas and New years which is a way way way too early to talk about.


Although given the fact that he did not upload anything last week, I thought it was because he ran out of recordings and he was too sick to record, not that these were recorded before Christmas.
