Method to my Madness - A short 1 minute film (HD)

WATCH IN HD~! ^_^
---------------------
This was a film project I had to make for my "Digital Video" class at the University of Sydney. Basically, I had to choose an idiom for my film project. With the help of the actress in the video (Maria Chrystal Busuttil [MC Design]) we came up with the idiom "Method to my Madness", which means:
"What appears to be a crazy action is actually for a good cause".
So how did this film come about? Well one day when Chrystal was at my home, my dad told me to cook lunch for us, so then the idea kicked in that Chrystal will cook lunch, but in unorthodox ways.
To make it seem like "Madness", I used effects in the Apple exclusive program "Motion", to show it. To be honest, prior to making this video, I had not been able to use effects properly, and as such, my Anime Music Videos lacked such. For some reason, I can't seem to have a good imagination when using effects, but I think this was the exception.
The use of music was easy to think about. If I was gonna show "Madness" then "Heavy metal" would be the appropriate choice to show it. But I like how I used the "Morning" song by Edvard Grieg in the beginning to show the audience that it is a nice neighbourhood and day, but there is more to that when the song "Love" by Strapping Young Lad kicks in.
I thank Chrystal, my wonderful girlfriend, for helping me in my video project!
That's all there is to it. Hope you enjoy it!
This is film 1 of 2 I had to make for "Digital Video" at the University of Sydney.
