Adrenaline

Adrenaline prepares your body for a “fight or flight” situation where you need to kick into action for some reason. It is released from the adrenal glands and has the following effects:
- The heart rate increases
- The breathing rate increases
- Blood vessels constrict to redirect blood
- Pupils dilate (get wider) to help see better
- The liver releases more glucose for a faster rate of respiration.
