Dreamworks’ latest film, The Bad Guys showed us some “villains” in a completely new light. And not only that, it was a fun dive into the heist genre that we don’t typically see from animated kids films. Which got us thinking… If we were to build our own heist crew made up of animals from other animated movies… What would our roster look like? Which fuzzy and furry characters would be the best picks for a big heist?

As a Wildcard I'd definitely put Rico from Penguins of Madagascar, dude's got a pocket dimension in his stomach, he's helped break into Fort Knox, and is a team player.

I'm surprised that Rattlesnake Jake wasn't on option for gunman considering his prowess with with one that is literally attached to him. Not to mention his keen eyes being able to detect even the slightest irregularity like with the bats pretending to be a hawk. He's definitely rougher around the edges to say the least but has shown to have a sense of honor to those he respects.

Rango is a great choice as well though!

I would have had Kowalski as the hacker due to his superior intelligence. Mantis could be a Safecracker due to his small size getting into the mechanisms. Pascal the Chameleon from Disney's Tangled could be a master of disguise due to his camouflage ability.

Safe cracking I'll have to disagree as puss has experienced picking locks and also has more variety than the snake. And he is also just as agile. I think puss is a far better choice then viper and tai lung is more frightening and could DEFINITELY beat that gorilla in a fight

I think it would like to see Mr Wolf, Mr Snake, Mr Shark, Mr Piranha, and Ms. Tarantula meeting with other heist groups like Lupin III and his crew, Sly Cooper Gang, Phantom Thieves of Heart from Persona 5, The Oceans Series and any others if they exist etc. and see which Heist Group would be the least to most likely to succeed in a Grand Heist of a Century. How would the Bad Guys stack up against the other heist groups? Would they have to compete against each other and if they ever had to fight, then which heist crew would prevail.

Rango is perfect being a gunman in the game you could see him just bursting out bullets

The crew would be good but Dave would also work as a master of disguise given as an octopus he was shown transforming into a human. Not to mention he would need some kind of eye kept on him so he doesn't betray the crew.

Let's imagine if inter-dimensional-travel or time-travel was possible. What would be some of the most qualified people from the REAL world? The following are my suggestions. Google their names away if you wish:

The Master of Disguise: Frank Abagnale
The Muscle: Richard Kuklinski
The Gunman: John Wesley Hardin

While good points that Viper has some lockpicking, fighting abilities and teamwork skills and yes, with some training she could become good safecracker, I would have to go with Puss as the safecracker if I have to choose right now, mostly because of his experience with thievery and picking locks and how quick he can do it, as well as his fighting skills. I would’ve chose Viper if she had that safe cracking training on display. But then, that got me thinking “Mr. Snake and Master Viper, on the same category, both types of snake from Dreamworks. What if they meet at some point?” I mean, they are both snakes that are complete polar opposites, Master Viper is kind, compassionate and the most empathetic of the Furious Five, she is even called the “Mother hen” of the group. Mr. Snake on the other side is snarky, grumpy, and selfish, the Bad Guys Gang consider him “the worst one of them”. But there are some things that they both have in common, aside from their species, they both love and care for their respective teammates and they both experienced prejudice, admittedly Snake much more than Viper, but she was frowned upon for not having fangs and deemed defenseless until she proved otherwise, and in Legends of Awesomeness episode “Serpent’s Tooth” she experienced the same prejudice Snake endured, being stereotyped and seen as a scary monster for being a snake even unintentionally by Po because of the deeds of a revengeful cobra who wanted justice for snakes. With these points taken it to account, imagine if they both meet and interacted with each other, Master Viper could be a good foil for Mr Snake and show him that snakes can be respected and seen as good creatures, more than monsters. It is just a random thought.

I feal like Dave could also be the master of descize character by him being able to be Octavios Prime in the movie and Puss in Boots might be a better safe cracker
