Anibal is so underrated. You hear a lot about the Nationals big three, and deservedly so, but Sanchez has arguably been just as good as those three.

Very classy by the fans to cheer and by Sanchez to give a salute to Martinez

Absolute gem performance from Sanchez and an amazing dive from Zimmerman to save it

That was a great team effort too. The dive for the out was Zimmerman was awesome.

Zimmerman's diving catch was stunning. I fell in love though I'm not originally Nats fan.
Sanchez's gem pitching also made me almost cry coz I know he had been almost done as MLB player once.

Huge win for Nats Yesterday.

We have a four headed monster, not just 3. So many people slept on this pick up it’s ridiculous

As a Tigers fan I don’t know what to feel seeing Anibal Sanchez, Verlander and Scherzer all pitching at high levels for other teams. Then add JD Martinez and Porcello from the Sox and it still boggles my mind how they didn’t win a ring.

May 24th, 2013 Anibal Sanchez nearly had a no hitter, he was two outs away. He was SO CLOSE again!

you know Sanchez is underrated when he isn't even a 80 overall on MLB the Show even though he's been as good these past 2 years as he was from 2006-2014.. He had a few rough years from 15-17 then bounced back in 18 & 19 and no one has given him the credit he deserves for doing so. He is more underrated than most pitchers of his caliber because he is a tier 1 top of the rotation starter who's been overshadowed his whole career... By Verlander & Scherzer in detroit.. and by Scherzer & Strasburg in Washington.

However, some guys are just better that way. They don't have the same pressure on them that an Ace does and that allows them to thrive.

I saw this guy pitch live in May vs Dodgers, this guy stepped his game up.

For Anibal Sanchez to do this is huge!!! You have Scherzer, Strasburg & Corbin! SHEESH! Nats seem to have the it factor this postseason, I hope they go all the way, from a Giants fan! 💪🏽🔥

This ain’t the first time Sanchez pitched very good in a championship series. Y’all need to go watch his 2013 ALCS game 1 performance. He walked more batters but he left the game allowing no hits to the eventual champions, the Boston Red Sox. That just says something about Sanchez and how good he is.

Don’t let Sanchez get hot. Guy has had the most underrated career. He was unbelievable on the Tigers and super clutch. I loved watching him pitch clutch on they Nats

Cardinals scored 13 run last game; they just needed 3 tonight. "That's baseball"...
