Years ago I adopted a dog from a shelter in Los Angeles who’s coat was long and matted like Marley. The worst part was the stench. I barely made it home without vomiting in my car from the smell. After an emergency grooming he became a beautiful black and white cocker spaniel. Supposedly he had been a stray for some time and it became clear that his urge to run was ingrained in his personality because he attempted to run away many times despite a loving forever home. He was quite the challenge but brought much joy to our family.

The little black and white is a Japanese Chin. I just lost my little Chin about a year ago. His name was Boodah. He was a quiet and serene little guy. I still miss him dearly.

The little black and white dog is Japanese Chin. We had one that looked exactly like this one. They are great little companion dogs.

He is part Huigarian puli I have had one in the past. The way his face is dreading up is a giveaway for sure.

Marley's my pick for the white dog's name. He looks like some kind of poodle mix I used to have a Maltese nothing like one way too big.

Man I feel so sad for Marley. His skin is going to be infected and it hurts, those mats are pulling on his skin. Poor baby. That's horrible. He'll get better once he gets and can see his skin to see what he needs.

You all do amazing work. So inspiring. My little fur baby is almost 4. I am hoping to adopt a younger fur baby so that he has a playmate when I am out & about. Last week I had an offer in on a manufactured home but then I found out that the HOA only allows 1 dog or 2 cats per home. That is so crazy. I was going to buy a 1900 sq ft manufactured home yet my 18 pound dog was the only pet I could have. The Humane Society (or maybe the Bissell Pet Foundation) needs to lobby the HOA associations oversight to help get rules like this removed. I understand size & breed restrictions especially for small apartments or condos but not for over 1400 sq foot homes that only have 1 small dog or cat. Changing this could really affect the shelters that need emptied.

He looks like a large Maltese or Havanese. Maltese is favorite breed of my lifetime.❤️🐾❤️🐾
Both breeds need daily brush outs, monthly shampoo and nail clipping. The most loving and loyal breed. Make sure new owner is committed to that. ❤️🐾❤️🐾❤️🐾❤️🐾

Rocky OMG this is one of the cutest videos!!! You just looked so cute 😂 like a school teacher, FOR DOGS, who was trying to get your class organized on the first day of school! Especially when you stopped giving treats momentarily, and picked up all their cage cards trying to shuffle through them. 🤗🤗🤗 🥰🥰🥰 LOVED IT!
