I remember wanting that latios/latias card pre-covid. It was the pre release to the set, and the card was $20 on tcgplayer. I just thought I'd buy one if it went down a bit since it wasn't a competitive card. Modern Pokemon singles boomed near instantly afterwards with the pandemic. It was crazy

The Charizard reshiram promo is definitely not the real price. If you look for more recent sale history you will find only one psa 10 sold for that price. For it to be a $1000 card there definitely needs to be more than one sale. Something is off on that price. At its highest I would say $500 or less.
