Bought a 2021 Hyperlite XLR, electrical problems, locks not working, molding cracked, drain in shower leaked. Can’t believe it’s new.

A lot of good points there. Definitely wish there was more competition with quality for sure. We are getting ready to transition into a new trailer during the off season and we hope we get a “good one”. I guess if it needs work, just be ready to be handy for some of the small fixes.

I agree, we bought a new XLR Hyperlite, and had electrical issues, water tank issues, drains leaking, locks not working. An this is a new 2021. Very disappointed.

1. Too many dealers are fast buck short-term companies. They don't care about you after the sale.
2. Manufacturers are making expensive poor quality products that may not last long term.
3. The RV industry is boom & bust so don't hurry to buy.
4. Campers will grow tired of crowded everything. Many will just stop.
5. Look at Europe for better RV sizes and more thought-out options. Too bad they won't do it here.

I agree with your gripes about the RV industry acting different than truck dealerships. Plus I didn’t know I was going to have to babysit the dealership’s activities regarding why I brought in my trailer. They have a lady that appears to have that job but doesn’t really have our best interests in mind. Like were the parts ordered? Did they address everything I asked them to? I never have that issue with our car or truck. Ridiculous. I don’t suppose it will change.. who would be our advocate?
